Top 5 Must-See Places in Bali

Bali is a magical place for everyone, no matter who you are or how you like to travel. There’s really something for everyone, which is why it’s a place I’d love to visit again. I could go on and on about how great the weather is, how nice the beaches are, how great the surf is, how amazing the rice paddies are, how nice the resorts are, and how good the food is, but if I had to choose just five things for a first-time visitor to see, these would be them.

Batur Hill

Take a trip from Serongga to Mount Batur, which is a magical place with beautiful natural scenery. Here, you can see and hear everything, from the peaceful sounds of the birds to the beautiful sights of nature.

As you walk up the trail, you can push yourself to the limit because the last part is rocky and not for the faint of heart. Also, this is one of the most exciting adventure sports in Bali that everyone planning a trip should include.

Jatiluwih

When I was in Bali, going to the area of Jatiluwih was one of the things I will remember most. As far as the eye can see, the beautiful and dramatic rice terraces spread out from the mountain. The best thing about this place is that you won’t have to deal with a lot of tourists because it’s not on the main tourist route. If you’re lucky like we were with our driver in Bali, you’ll be able to stop by one of these rice paddies to meet local farmers and see what it takes to harvest rice.

Tanah Lot Temple

You have to go to the Tanah Lot temple as part of your trip to Bali. This temple gets a lot of visitors from all over the world because it is set in a beautiful area with a beautiful beach and a beautiful sunset. This temple is in the village of Beraban in the Tabanan regency. It is at the top of a rocky outcrop, where the waves crash against the shore. Tanah Lot is the best place for you, whether you want to see a beautiful sunset or just look at the temple’s amazing architecture.

The cultural park, where traditional dances are performed, is another interesting thing about the temple. Since this temple was built as part of Balinese mythology, people think that poisonous snakes protect it from evil spirits.

Uluwatu

One of the best places to surf in the world is on the southern tip of Bali. Even if you don’t surf, there are lots of reasons to come here.

For one, Uluwatu Temple is right on the edge of a cliff. From here, you can see the dramatic cliffs along the coast and the sparkling Indian Ocean in the background.

If you stay here until night, you can see a traditional Kecak and Fire Dance show that you shouldn’t miss.

Bali Swing

Bali Swing is one of the most popular places to go in Bali, whether you want to take a bunch of pretty pictures for Instagram or want to feel the real thrill of adventure. This place is best known for having the most famous swing in Asia. It is suspended over an abyss and is surrounded by a huge area of tropical plants.

So, when you sit on one of these and swing back and forth, the movement not only makes you feel on the edge of your seat, but it also makes a perfect picture that you should take a picture of. A lot of newlyweds and travel bloggers from all over the world come to Bali Swing for its beautiful rope and wood swings and beautiful scenery.

Ubud

Ubud, which is surrounded by forests, is the cultural center of Bali. If you want to get to know the real Bali, you should make time in your schedule to visit Bali’s most famous places.

Now, Ubud is a large area, but there are a few places you should make sure to visit. Ganung Kawi, with its rock-cut shrines, and the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, where mischievous macaque monkeys play all over, are two of the best.

Along with some of these things, the food, the local markets, and, of course, the famous Barong Dance made Ubud a memorable place for me.

Goa Gajah Gianyar

Goa Gajah, which tourists call Elephant Cave, is a Hindu temple and one of the most important religious, historical, and archaeological sites in Bali. The cave temple is thought to have been built in the 9th century. It is said to have been built as a place of worship or meditation.

Several designs are carved into the rock at the entrance of the cave. The most prominent is a giant face in the middle, right above the opening. In the temple’s courtyard, there are many old artifacts from both Hinduism and Buddhism. There are also carvings on the rock walls, fountains, and bathing pools that are worth looking at.
